Remote Door Lock Car Remote Door Lock Not Working? What Cost To Re-program?

Car remote door lock not working? What cost to re-program? - remote door lock

I have a new battery for the remote locking car door. Still not working as well as it should. He stopped at the dealer (fifty miles). They said the battery was fine, but I must reprogram the remote control. If I were a local dealer (four miles) How much should I pay?

Normally, you can reprogram the car, put the following steps (for example, the key in the ignition, turn the first or second position, and then press a button on the key.) Locate the correct actions taken by your Owner's Manual. If your manual, please download a copy from the website of the automaker. As the costs of adjustment that varies by dealer, but when they reprogram the car, wait a bit more ...

This happened to me and it was not cheap.
I went to a locksmith and had built up again for me.
It is much cheaper than what a dealer would charge me.
$ 50.00 was the locksmith and the dealer wanted $ 80.00.
It also makes a difference what brand and model of your vehicle. Some cost more than others.
